Three of the men accused of killing Redskins safety Sean Taylor got a bid of good news recently. If, that is, the prospect of spending the rest of your life in prison (and all that that implies) is deemed to be better than getting it all over with in the short term. Prosecutors won’t seek the death penalty against the three defendants who were over the age of 18 at the time of the killing. The suspect who was under 18 when Taylor was shot in his home last November isn’t eligible for the death penalty, by law. The attorneys for the three defendants received a certified letter ...
