Flyers Didn’t Get Any Breaks

... appeared to have been scored with a high stick resulted in a 4-3 Montreal win in overtime last night in the Bell Centre.
Tom Kostopoulos got a second chance at his own rebound and scored the game-winner 48 second into overtime, putting the Canadiens up, 1-0, in the best-of-seven series that resumes tomorrow night in Montreal.
“We certainly didn’t get any breaks,” coach John Stevens said when asked how he felt about the calls.

... It may be a bit of "what goes around comes around" feeling and there is certainly a "karma is a female dog" air but we take no solace in the Flyers whining about the officiating in Game 1 of their series with Montreal. Let those calls come in Game 7 of that Series and force the Flyers out of the playoffs ...
