Cleveland would then be #2 and Los Angeles #3. If Boston and New York tie for the AL East, New York holds the tiebreaker advantage at 10-8. If there is a four-way tie among the four AL playoff teams, the Yankees would be the #1 team, Cleveland would be #2, Los Angeles would be #3, and Boston the wild card at #4. NL tiebreaker info
