If last night's performance didn't earn Sasha Vujacic some word space, it's hard to imagine what will. Vujacic used the breadth of his arsenal to make two more field goals (and score one less point) than the entirety of the Celtics bench in the Lakers' 87-81 Game 3 win.

This game was not pretty. Whether it was the short travel turn-around (why there are two days off in between two games in Boston, but not when the series switches cities is beyond me) or whatnot, both teams did not have all their players on full tilt. Let's just get it out of the way now. The Lakers shot 34 free throws; the Celtics 22. Neither team converted well though, each hitting less than 70%. Of all of the players in the Celtics-Lakers Finals, the guy who I am constantly looking at and wishing I knew more about is Sasha Vujacic. With his bizarre feminine headband, plastered down hair, and sweet 3 point shooting streak, he seems like quite a character. NBA - If you wanted a tightly contested, hard-fought game last night, all you had to do was sit through 52 minutes of lop-sided gameplay and poor officiating. The Lakers went on a 31-9 run after being down 24 points with 7:40 remaining in the 4th quarter to cut the Celtics' lead to 2 with about a minute remaining.
