Coming Soon: Thoughts from the Dark Side’s Hype or Player NFL Draft series
Oakland Raiders —
Coming Soon: Thoughts from the Dark Side’s Hype or Player NFL Draft series The offseason is in full swing. The Raiders have started resigning their own free agents. Starting February 29th, we’ll see if the Raiders go after Bernard Berrian, or try to consummate a trade for Chad Johnson or Roy Williams (WR). The free agency signing period will tell a lot about how the Raiders will go. The move to resign Justin Fargas likely eliminates Darren McFadden from the Raiders draft board. Last year in the days leading to the Draft here at Thoughts from the Dark Side I did a series called “Hype or Player” where I outlined a bit about each potential draftee, and asked for your comments. That series will return now in the ...

He is coming off his first career 1,000-yard rushing performance last season despite starting only seven games. He began the year as the backup to LaMont Jordan and missed the final two games of the season with a sprained MCL in his right knee.
