Aramis Ramirez tied a career-high with four hits, including a two-run homer, and the Chicago Cubs beat Pittsburgh 13-6 Sunday to complete their second three-game sweep of the Pirates this season. Ryan Theriot added four hits, scored three runs and drove in two as Chicago won for the 11th time in 14 games and pounded the Pirates again.

... Alfonso Sorianwho? I'm not going to be an idiot and say the Cubs are better without their $136 million man - even though they are 5-1 - but the offense has exploded on the north side because his presence doesn't force Lou Piniella to bad him in leadoff. Hopefully... finally, Lou should realize this as the Cubs scored 9, 12, 13 and 13 runs this week without him and Reed Johnson and Ryan Theriot prospering at the top of the order. Cubs 13, Pirates 6. ...
