From TSN : New York Rangers sign UFA forward Patrick Rissmiller to an undisclosed deal Philadelphia signs UFA defenceman Ossi Vaananen to a one year deal worth $1-million Both teams are shoring up their depth with these signings. From TSN : The New York Rangers announced that the club has agreed to terms with unrestricted free agent forward Patrick Rissmiller. Rissmiller, 29, appeared in 79 games with the San Jose Sharks this past season, registering eight goals and nine assists for 17 points, along with 30 penalty minutes.

Forward Patrick Rissmiller from San Jose and Andreas Jamtn from the Swedish Elite League. Could this be the preface to a trade? Rissmiller is 29 years old, played in 79 games last season with 17 points. Another big guy. I think Ryan Hollweg's fate is out the door.
