Tyler Arnason's REAL New Job
"New York Rangers President and General Manager Glen Sather announced today that the club has agreed to terms on a two-way contract with free agent forward Tyler Arnason"
Rangers sign Arnason - 7-3-09
Empty Netters —
The Rangers have signed former Avalanche forward Tyler Arnason to a two-way deal.
Arnason had 22 points (five goals, 17 assists) in 71 games last season.
EN Says: Arnason is a talented but inconsistent player. So he'll fit in well with the Rangers.
It's little surprising he could do no better than a two-way deal. He's a player who has been a regular No. 3 center in the NHL despite his inconsistency.
Arnason is the son of former Penguins forward Chuck Arnason. We can sense Paul Steigerwald cueing up several "the Arnasons' are..." as we type this.

Haha - Rangers Sign Tyler Arnason
The Avslova Factor —
It's official - Tyler Arnason is no longer a member of the Colorado Avalanche. WOOOOOOOOOOOOO. Check out the positive spin of the signing on the New York Rangers website. In addition, Arnason has recorded two career hat tricks, and was selected to the 2003 NHL All-Rookie Team following his first full season with Chicago. When a player's only career highlights are a couple of hat tricks and an All-Rookie Team selection, it probably means the player sucks. Arnason will always be remembered as one of the most hated Avs of all time. Good luck on your new team, Arnie. Good bye and ...
