The Texas Rangers announced today the appointment of Rob Matwick as Executive Vice President of Ballpark Operations. He is expected to join the Rangers on June 16. Matwick is currently in his 23rd season of professional baseball and returns to the state of Texas after serving as Vice President of Communications for the Detroit Tigers organization.
