Again, the Yankees can't seem to score enough to beat a mediocre pitcher after getting a decent enough pitching performance. Joba was hardly efficient, but the bullpen certainly was (right up until Mariano, anyway). Frankly, we're confused after tonight's game. ...

Joba, on the other hand, needs to find a way to throw strikes, because this 90+ pitches in four innings business just isn't going to cut it. No one reasonably expects him to be an ace yet, but he should at least be expected not to be a drain on the bullpen and everyone's patience. ...
