After all the hype, all the anticipation, and all the guessing that led us up to the drop of the green flag for the 50th running of the Daytona 500, laps 20 through 150 nearly put me to sleep. Based on my poll from the other day , you have determined that the Remote Control "Fancontroller" from Toyota was the best commercial of the Daytona 500. As of this posting that commercial has 41% of the vote with the Diecast Autograph Michael Waltrip/NAPA commercial tied with Dale Jr's Gorilla Amp commercial in second, each with 17% of the vote.

The three cars of Michael Waltrip Racing celebrated the 50th anniversary of the 500 by starting the race with special gold wheels that will be autographed by the drivers and then sold to raise money for charity. The wheels on the Toyotas of Waltrip, David Reutimann and Dale Jarrett were replaced on their first pit stops with the team's normal chrome wheels the Los Angeles Times reported. ...
