This is the $450 million dollar stadium which is projected to sit at the waterfront of St. Petersburg. It would replace Tropicana Field , which has been the team's only home since 1998. I guess it has lost its luster. I always wondered why exactly, that a team who plays in sunny Florida plays in a dome. This is the new stadium that the Devil Rays...er...I mean Rays ...are probably going to get. The general consensus is that it's an amazing design and should be a great draw for fans. Umm...am I missing something? I hope I'm not the only person that thinks this stadium looks like crap. Maybe a lot of people think that different = good. Come on, people! This stadium has a freakin' sail on ...
