I am moving…
38 Pitches —
... am going to begin working with Rob Bradford and the folks over at EEI to blog going forward. I have way too much going on to keep up here without some sort of push, and help. I have immense respect for Rob and am comfortable that he’s a fan first and a writer second. He has yet to write anything that I didn’t know to be true, which in and of itself sets him apart from many.
So I started a write up about Thanksgiving, 5 years ago, and it will be posted there.
Check out WEEI.COM for all the latest.

WEEI: Schilling: Five Years Later … A Pitcher’s Most Memorable Thanksgiving
BBTF's Baseball Primer Newsblog —
WEEI: Schilling: Five Years Later … A Pitcher’s Most Memorable Thanksgiving Boksballen! It looks like 38 Pitches is no more… Late in the year, Mr. Colangelo (the Diamondbacks owner who I think the world of), Todd Stottlemyre and I were sitting in the clubhouse manager’s office while we were getting beat. Mr. Colangelo was pissed. He was talking about payroll and how he had no issues with paying the money as long as players performed. He looked at both Stott and me and said: “Look at you two, $17 million dollars pissed away for two guys that haven’t done anything this ...

Curt's Moving, to WEEI
The Mighty Quinn Media Machine —
Things have been unusually quiet with the Red Sox so far in this off-season, but I did hear this morning that Curt Schilling is shutting down his 38Pitches blog, and is moving his blogging over to WEEI's web site. I always found Schilling's blog an interesting read. I loved the fact he circumvented sportswriters, and really pissed them off, by going straight to the fans with his thoughts. Of course he has an opinion about everything, but at least he can't claim he was misquoted on his site. Schilling's MLB future is still up in the air, after the shoulder ...

Curt Schilling: Yankees did nothing wrong by signing Teixeira
zellspinstripeblog.com 12/25/2008 — For the first time in a long time I agree with something Curt Schilling said.
