The Phillies acquired RHP Joe Blanton from the Athletics for three minor leaguers; 2B Adrian Cardenas, LHP Josh Outman and OF Matthew Spencer. The Diamondbacks acquired 1B Tony Clark from the Padres for RHP Evan Scribner. Clark waived his $500,000.00 no trade clause in order to go back to his 2007 club. In our first post-All-Star Game rankings, the Boston Red Sox just barely ranks ahead of the Chicago Cubs, but the big story is the Milwaukee Brewers. The addition of CC Sabathia to the rotation to Sheets and Parra help the Brew Crew jump 11 spots to #4, the highest they've been all season. On the other side is the Oakland A's, dropping 8 spots to #15 after trading 2 starters.
