According to the Associated Press, Red Sox GM Theo Epstein has granted the Indians permission to take to pitching coach John Farrell about their current managerial vacancy. This is a huge development as many feel that the ex-Indians farm director is at the top of Mark Shapiro’s short list to take over for the fired Eric Wedge.
