I wasn't planning on addressing this one, but since I've gotten several questions asking about it, I'm told Red Bull is NOT planning to sell their MLS team here in New York.
There are internet reports speculating that they're shopping the team, and one never knows what goes on behind closed doors or in the whims of billionare energy drink moguls; but I checked into it and my sources tell me there is no sale going down.
It should be noted that Red Bull is driving the last piece of steel in their 25,000-seat stadium in Harrison _ Red Bull Arena _ tomorrow, and I hope to get out there for a ceremony celebrating ...
