soccer by ives is reporting that the red bulls have hired osorio from the chicago fire to be our new coach. now, i don't know a whole lot about this (and ives obviously knows tons more), but this sounds like a good move based on: 1) his turnaround of the fire this season (though the impact of blanco arriving about the same time might be grounds for some argument) 2) the fact that he has experience in mls (which is a league with its own quirks) 3) that he was with the metrostars before in their most successful season i am glad ...
