In summary the Sox made what is a “very strong” offer to Mike Lowell for a 3 year deal. This deal I would expect to be 12-13 million a year. I’m not sure how much he is worth considering his normal career numbers. Mike Lowell is a gold glove guy with a solid bat. But for the price of 12-13 million you have to wonder if the money could be better spent.
