Hell With the Winter, Bring On Spring Training
The Mighty Quinn Media Machine — The Red Sox announced their Spring Training schedule yesterday, with the highlights being four games against the rival Rays, two games to open Citi Field against the Mets in April, and a game against the Puerto Rican WBC team. The first exhibition games will take place on February 25, with the Sox opening in the afternoon against Boston College, and then at night playing the Minnesota Twins. The schedule will open a few days earlier in 2009 due to the World Baseball Classic, which kicks off in early March. The Red Sox will also play two games against the Yankees: March 13th in Ft. Myers and March 24th at Tampa. Tickets for Spring Training go on sale on December 6th. Here's ...
