Whether he can come into the Liverpool side and help resurrect the standing of Benitez though remains to be seen.

If what we read in the media is true, Rafa has pulled off a nice bit of business this last week. Out goes our Malian midfielder, Momo Sissoko, to rejoin old boss Claudio Ranieri at Juventus for a reported 11m gbp and in comes young Slovenian defender, Martin Škrtel for between 6-7m gbp (depending on who you read).
I love this deal. One, we have an embarrassment of riches in the central midfield berth and, quite frankly, Sissoko is the one most in need of a change. His form has dipped since his eye injury and a move abroad to a less physical league ...
