Info from MLBTRADERUMORS.com says that the Reds are shopping Ryan Freel. I think that Ryan Freel would definitely fill the bill for a utility outfielder. In terms on comparing Fernando Tatis and Freel there is definitely a difference. Ryan Freel is only a .270 lifetime hitter, but he is a player that is right handed and can play multiple positions. He can play 3B, 2B, OF. He also has some speed and a definite gamer....Fernando Tatis is a candidate for a bench utility player who has not played a Major League game since 2006.
