... One of the most interesting pieces of commentary concerning the Andy Phillips signing comes from LoHud, a Yankees blog written by beat writer Peter Abraham. Since the the Reds now have Scott Hatteberg, Andy Phillips, and Joey Votto at first base, could Votto be used as a trading card for pitching? This seems to be a likely scenario. I would be all for it if it helps bring someone like Eric Bedard to Cincy.
