Jason Taylor Traded to Washington Redskins
Published 7/21/2008 by David Kindervater at EMQB - NFL Blogcast
... Skins get one of the game’s best pass rushers. Jason had 11 sacks in a 1-15 season with the Dolphins last year. He should have a renewed sense of purpose with one of the league’s best defenses. Washington was top ten in yards allowed per game. The open competition to start opposite Jason will be between Andre Carter, Chris Wilson, Kevin Huntley, Rob Jackson, Erasmus James and Demetric Evans. Whoever it is, they’ll find plenty of one-on-one matchups.

Reports are coming in that the trade that everyone thought might happen, everyone hoped wouldn’t need to happen, and the Miami Dolphins so desperately wanted to happen, has happened. But shortly after Daniels was lost for the season in 7-on-7 drills in practice, the team put together a package (2nd and 6th round draft picks) to acquire the 33-year old defensive end from the Miami Dolphins. ...Jason Taylor No Longer A Phin…TRADED!
