Did Marques Colston have a setback or do you just decide to hold him out this morning?
"With him and Reggie (Bush) both, we're just gradually increasing their workload. Both of them are getting some work in after practice. They're at that stage where we just don't want them getting tangled up in a drill. We'll be smart and continue to increase their workload as we see fit. There hasn't been any setback."

Texans Down 'N Dirty: Ricky Hatton Edition

We've all seen this story before. Another analyst feels the need to point out how smart the Texans decision was to draft Mario Williams in place of Vince Young or Reggie Bush. Don't get me wrong, I'm happy for any most national attention our team receives, but after reading the same story countless times with the only difference being the name of the author, it gets old quick.

Shut Up, Dave Hutchinson
Canal Street Chronicles —
... Remember earlier in the week when the Saints curiously denied New York/New Jersey media interview requests for Drew Brees, Jonathan Vilma, Jeremy Shockey, Reggie Bush and Marques Colston. Instead, the team made Darren Sharper available to answer questions. But to at least one member of the media, that wasn't good enough.
Dave Hutchinson, of the New Jersey Star Ledger, took it as a slap in the face. Apparently, Darren Sharper just wasn't high-profile enough for him. ...

What exactly was the problem? Some of it was probably execution and players not being where they were supposed to. He also converted a HUGE 3rd down play by shedding a tackle late and tip toeing the sidelines before turning upfield. Those plays came with the game in the balance, so give him credit. Obviously, they don't think he's a full-time RB, but he's paid like he's Adrian Peterson. I'd be happy to have him a swing player, between RB and WR, but he's a backup at both positions, and I'd only pay him backup money.
