Mike Lupica believes that the current Yankees are now Joe Girardi’s team and that Girardi’s Yankees have more of an “attitude” than Joe Torre’s Yankees. He believes that Joe Girardi doesn’t care if any one in baseball likes him and feels that the Yankees needed a change. Via George King - Major League Baseball has ordered Reggie Jackson out of uniform for the remainder of spring training games after the Hall of Famer was on the field during this past Wednesday's altercation. Jackson, who was on the field dressed in gray baseball pants, windbreaker and Yankees hat, was fined $250 by MLB.
