Relax KG, You Only Beat the Timberwolves
Relax KG, You Only Beat the Timberwolves
Way too much celebrating for the best team in the league (the Celtics) beating the worst team in the league (the T'Wolves) by one point at home.

Yeah, that really wasn't necessary. I usually like Garnett, but outbursts like this one make him less endearing.

soooooooooo.....did they just win game 7?  And what exactly did KG do on the last possession?  Dude...relax, we know you're good, it's not like you're not getting any respect.

I stand corrected, KG made a good defensive play at the end.

Watching the game, it was a pretty exciting play at the time. Did KG overreact? Did the Celtics play down to the Wolves? Was it a crappy win against a bad team? Yes to all of the above. But KG going balls out and abusing Telfair on the last play was something that you would have never seen on the Celtics in the past decade.

As a Wolves fan, I was somewhat insulted by KG's jersey popping at the end. However, if he'd been in a Wolves jersey, it would have been a different story. That's why MN fans love(d) him- dude is passionate and a fierce competitor regardless of the opponent or at what point his team is at in the season. Though I wasn't too happy about it, he had every right to celebrate. I envy those Boston fans.

I understand the emotion--after all, it was against his former team--but all the jersey-popping these Celtics are quickly becoming known for doing after a regular-season win is a joke.

It's all part of Boston's master plan to become the most hated city in the US. Next stop, the Super Bowl! It's not Boston's fault that they're smarter than you.

KG In The Heat Of The Moment
Can't Stop The Bleeding — ... nothing less than that.“I want you all to understand something. A lot of the guys I played with in Minnesota are not even on this team. It’s like a brand new team. The personnel — the trainers and the people behind the scenes are probably a little more important than some of the people that are on the court.” Above : the shy, retiring Garnett after a last second steal from Sebatian Telfair preserved Boston’s 87-86 victory.  For the Fanhouse’s Brett Edwards, this celebration was a bit excessiv. the Celtics won ...
