Report: Allen Likely Out for Celtics Again Tonight
"The Boston Celtics dodged a bullet in San Antonio on Monday, beating the Spurs without key weapon Ray Allen. They might have to navigate the second leg of their Texas swing the same way," according to a report on ESPN.com. "Celtics coach Doc Rivers told reporters on Monday that he doubted Allen would be ready to face Houston on Tuesday, saying Thursday's game in Dallas is more likely." [link]

... Kobe Bryant? Hmm. Methinks he would never have beat out David Wesley for a starting spot. And that will just about do it for now. Ryan may be checking in with a post before the day is done, so keep an eye out for that. As for the other eye, you could do worse than focusing it on TNT tonight, where our next opponent, the Houston Rockets, will put their mega-streak on the line against the visiting Boston Celtics. Tip off is at 8:30pm Central. And of course Ray Allen would have to be injured. Dammit.

NBA: Houston Rockets are riding high as they take on the Boston Celtics

The Boston Celtics edged the San Antonio Spurs on Monday, and they did it without star guard Ray Allen, and it's likely that the C's will be without Allen as they take on the Houston Rockets. The Rockets already own the second longest win streak in NBA history, at 22 games, but more importantly they take over the no. 1 seed in the Western Conference standings.  But ...

Minnesota’s Absentee, Incompetent Owner Has Gall to Call Out Kevin Garnett

Kevin Garnett is perhaps the most passionate and conscientious player in the NBA. Glen Taylor is the person who has asked for a complete lack of accountability from his front office, who has never cared enough to question McHale or his ludicrous moves and who has never gone out and brought a real GM to town. Shame on Taylor.
