chowell18 From the latest comment re: Ron-Ron's culture and the fact that he's not going to drop it, I feel sick.
Seriously, this is a role model for young kids, already fighting to make it out of the streets, and he says he's all about his ghetto culture. I think it's great when people like to stick to their "culture", but thuggery and gangsta' living are not two traits that serve any cultures.
Apparently, Tracy McGrady and Rafer Alston aren't "culture" enough either, since Artest is going to show Yao the real thing.
This one's a headache already and he's not even a Rocket officially.

... It took a hot minute for Yao Ming to make a snarky comment about son-to-be teammate Ron Artest's tumultuous history in the NBA, including the infamous Nov. 2004 brawl with fans at The Palace at Auburn Hills. "Hopefully, he's not fighting anymore and going after a guy in the stands," Yao said, according to the (Houston) Chronicle. And it took the length of a cocaine heartbeat for Artest to respond in only a manner that Artest would respond. "If you go back to the brawl, that's a culture issue right there," Artest added, according to the report. "Somebody was disrespecting me, ...

Yao Ming reacted by saying he likes Artest now because he "hated playing against him." Yao also hoped Artest wasn't still fighting and going into the stands, but I doubt he meant it in a mean way.
