REPORT: BRADY OUT FOR THE YEAR WITH TORN ACL
Michael Silver of Yahoo! Sports reports that Patriots quarterback Tom Brady is expected to miss the rest of the 2008 season with a “severe injury to his left knee.” The injury is widely believed to be a torn ACL. Daily Norseman — Note the question mark there.  I'm just going off of different reports, including Pro Football Talk. Well, if nothing else. . .at least the ESPN broadcast team will have something to talk about during tomorrow night's game.  FINALLY.  Lord knows that, based on past precedent, there's no chance in hell of them actually discussing the football game.
