Michael Silver of Yahoo! Sports reports that Patriots quarterback Tom Brady is expected to miss the rest of the 2008 season with a “severe injury to his left knee.”
The injury is widely believed to be a torn ACL. Silver says that there could be other ligament and cartilage damage.

Well, if nothing else. . .at least the ESPN broadcast team will have something to talk about during tomorrow night's game. FINALLY. Lord knows that, based on past precedent, there's no chance in hell of them actually discussing the football game.

Most reports are that Brady suffered a torn ACL and will miss the remainder of the 2008 campaign. His MRI results are due back sometime today.
Now, the question is this: Should Brady owners scramble to pick up Matt Cassel for fantasy relief?
