The New York Post reports that New York Rangers winger Jaromir Jagr has received a three-year, $35 million contract offer to play with Omsk of the Russian Super League next season. A source with connections in the Czech Republic told The Post that Jagr received the formal offer this week from Omsk general manager Anatoly Bardin after months of conversations. According to TSN, Rangers RW Jaromir Jagr was offered a deal worth approximately $35 million dollars over 3 years tax free. However, the word is that Jagr will not make a decision on his future until July 1, at the start of NHL Free Agency. Upon this news, Free Agency is looking to be very interesting for the New York Rangers, as Jagr's decision will likely influence how the Rangers go about offering contracts to free agents this offseason. ...
