Harrison questioned in shooting
18 to 88 —
Bet you never thought you would read that headline. DZ Comments: I don't know what's more shocking, the headline or the fact that Marvin owns a bar. I'm disturbed by this. Obviously we are waiting until further details are reported to truly weigh in on this. Supposedly there is a press conference going on in Philly now. My gut says Marvin wouldn't risk tarnishing his legendary career unless he felt he or his friends were in danger.
Marvin Harrison Suspect In Philadelphia Shooting

... police on Wednesday, where Harrison admitted to the fight and the gunfire, but said he was not the shooter. Even if Harrison is not the shooter, there is a law in Pennsylvania that the owner of a gun used in a crime can be charged. It is believed that police are getting things in order before arresting Marvin Harrison.
As I said at the top, the details are still a little sketchy so I’ll update this as more information becomes available.

HARRISON INVESTIGATED IN SHOOTING
ProFootballTalk.com —
Who’s the last guy in the NFL that you think would be involved in a shooting? Take a minute to write down a name. (And ignore the title to this article in doing so.) If you wrote down “Marvin Harrison” (and more than a few of you undoubtedly did . . . especially if you weren’t able to ignore the title to this article), then you win. The Italian leg lamp will be arriving tonight. Harrison, per our friends (except one of them) at WIP radio in Philly, is being investigated for his role in a shooting that occurred Tuesday night outside his North Philadelphia bar. Harrison was ...

His report further states that a fistfight broke out when Harrison escorted a man out of his bar, called Playmakers. When the man fled, gunfire was exchanged. The man’s car was struck by a bullet and his hand was grazed, Gargano reported. ESPN further reports that “a young girl was slightly injured by flying glass from a car that ...

If there was someone in the NFL that I would never expect this to happen to it's Harrison, and in all fairness Harrison hasn't been charged or arrested at all. Harrison is under investigation for a gunshot wound that occurred outside a bar in North Philly. In all seriousness, if it's true, I'd probably cut the guy. Note to Marvin Harrison assailants/victims : if you're going to walk into his bar and start something, make sure it's during the postseason . He'd surely drop his gun, shy away from confrontation and allow himself to be pushed around. Something tells me if it were Jerry Rice in this situation he would have shot the guy in the head with his handgun from about 500 yards away while running through traffic and battling the winds of a tornado. You know, because Jerry Rice is the greatest wide receiver of all time and Marvin Harrison is a phony who doesn't perform in the ...

Marvin Harrison Investigated in Shooting
Every Morning Quarterback —
... NFL. In Marvin’s case, he was not involved in any NFL-related function. He merely owns a bar and a car wash. But weapons laws are different in each state and in Pennsylvania, the owner of a weapon involved in the shooting can be charged in the crime. If police legally determine this handgun belongs to Marvin, he could be charged with at least a misdemeanor, which could result in a suspension. We’ll have to keep our eyes on how this investigation progresses.
