    As they said on ESPN today, Arenas is no Mother Teresa by turning down $16 million, but he's still getting major bank.

    Saving his team $3 milllion a year helps them sign who, a Devean George low/mid-level exception... giving up money to help the team would mean allowing the team to sign another bench player - not a bench warmer.

    Still, it's a nice trend to see a player not take the full amount offered.  Elton Brand is reportedly considering signing w/ the Clippers for less than market value as well.
