TBS’ lead play-by-play announcer for baseball Chip Caray will no longer call games for the network according to a TBS spokesperson.
“Since the end of the 2009 MLB Playoffs, we’ve had several discussions with Chip Caray regarding 2010 and beyond. Both sides agree that now is the right time to move ahead on different paths,” according to a statement released by the network Monday.
