Cristiano Ronaldo was sent off for violent conduct as Manchester United stumbled again with a 1-1 draw against Portsmouth on Wednesday. Sir Alex Ferguson's side were held at home by Reading on Sunday and the champions were forced to settle for a point at Fratton Park when Benjani Mwaruwari cancelled out Paul Scholes's first half strike.
