In a game that started off as a pitcher’s duel between Boston Red Sox starter Jon Lester and St. Louis Cardinals starter Joel Piñeiro, ended in the 13th inning when Kevin Youkilis hit a 2-run walk-off homer to help the Red Sox win 5-3.
