... Let me schill, er, direct your attention to Roster Magazine. The inaugural issue is a full-featured fantasy preview, the same stuff you’d find in that pricey magazine of questionable integrity. Hey, I'm Famous!

Roster Magazine, an on-line fantasy baseball publication, debuted this week, and yours truly is a featured writer! I wrote the Reds preview, natch. There are far bigger names than I in it, but it is fun to see your name in "print." I caught the mention on Baseball Musings, actually. Cool. The mag is put forth by mvn.com, where I also moonlight with Reds writing.

Finally, you have better information than they do!

Catchers: Overrated or underrated?

... simply because they are catchers. That leaves us with the question of where to actually take them in fantasy drafts. Using the Standings Gain Points (SGP) method for a traditional, 12-team mixed league, you'll generally find the first catcher or two among the Top 30 players (hitters and pitchers). I don't however, believe that this is where you should take catchers, even though taking one in the third round of a traditional mixed league draft would net you positive value. In an interview I recently gave for the ...

Just a quick note to let people know I’ve taken part in a March Madness preview for Roster Magazine. I was asked some questions by Jon Burkett about my favourite March Madness memories, who I’m rooting for this year, who I think will upset a high seed, which player will make a name for himself in the Tournament as well as a ton of other questions that I had a blast answering.
