Game 40: Detroit @ Kansas City
Published 5/16/2008 by Lee Warren (noreply@blogger.com) at Royal Reflections
Game Date: May 15, 2008 Royals 8, Tigers 4 / Box Score WP: Meche (3-5), LP: Rogers (3-4)  Royal Home Runs: Guillen (4) Royals Record: 19-21 When you look at the Tigers on paper, they look far too good to be swept by the Royals twice in one year. John, who didn't start behind the plate Thursday as he awaited news from the doctor, actually left the game with a few innings remaining in order to reach Brooke at the hospital in time. In the end, he got to be there for the birth ...

Time to Fix the Royals Offense

By Craig Brown...If you’ve read my articles here at Baseball Digest Daily, and made your way all the way to the finish (fingers crossed you have read at least one article in its entirety) then you know that I’m a Royals fan.
