Rex Ryan says he won't tolerate penalties
ProFootballTalk.com — ... . The Jets have been flagged for 44 penalties, fourth-most in the league. Ryan says he doesn't want to coach a team that's close to the lead league in flags. "That's not the way we're going to play football and I won't tolerate it ," Ryan said. "We want to be the most physical team in the NFL, but within the confines of the rules." Ryan said he considered cutting both Ihedigbo and Marques Murrell, who was involved in the skirmish that got Ihedigbo ejected. Instead, he said he'll bench both this week, and let them know that they've run out of second chances.
