Since the Red Sox are interested in a first-baseman who can also play left-field and get on base at a good clip, Ryan Klesko at a financially sensible price makes a lot of sense. [link]

    Ryan Klesko was strike out or a home run when he played for the Braves. Has he gotten any better?

      Klesko made $1.7 million last year with a line of .260/.340/.401 & Bill James' projections for next year has him at .257/.358/.414 (for 300 ABs).  Given that Hinske was .204/.317/.398 last year @ $5.625 million (although Toronto picked up 2.8 of that), I'll take Klesko.
