Free-agent defensive end Darrion Scott was arrested on Wednesday, for “ probable cause felony assault .” But the arrest doesn’t re-set the “Days without an Arrest” meter to zero, since Scott currently isn’t employed by an NFL team. Scott completed his rookie contract with the Vikings after the 2007 season, and he has not signed a new deal.  He visited the Patriots in March, and he had not ruled out returning to the Vikings. Whoever signs him before the currently pending charges are resolved will pick up seven points in Turd Watch II.
