In a move that would have seemed unthinkable two years ago, the Seattle Seahawks have officially parted ways with running back Shaun Alexander. It was two years ago that Alexander received a big-money, long-term deal from the ‘Hawks after winning the league MVP award during a push for that contract.  Injuries and ineffectiveness have marred his performances over the last two seasons.
