Selanne, who has been skating the past month in Finland, supposedly told the paper he is in great shape and mentally ready for the grind of another NHL season, although reports from Europe haven’t always proven accurate.

Ducks Need Cap Relief To Sign Selanne

The issues are no different than they have been for nearly two months, with the Ducks more than $2 million over the NHL’s $56.7 million salary cap. Until they find a way to clear that hurdle, the Ducks can’t sign Selanne.
