Self Promotion: Worth It?
Shawn Marion is the perfect example of where sports have gone wrong. We, the fans, have focused so much on the idea of the individual vs. the team. Look, it's clearly a LOT more entertaining for sports fans to root for those spectacular one-man shows (example: Cavaliers) than it is to root for the chemistry-strong Spurs. But isn't the goal to win championships? Isn't that what players dream about?
