Indians general manager Mark Shapiro reiterated Thursday that he tries to reserve judgment on a team until it's played 35-45 games. So what are his overriding thoughts on the problems plaguing the 5-10 Tribe? "It necessitates concern," Shapiro said, "but not action." [link]

(AP): "Joe Borowski, who led the league with 45 (total regular season) saves was placed on the disabled list with strained triceps on Tuesday, a day after giving up a decisive ninth-inning home run to Boston's Manny Ramirez.
