Rick Stroud of the St. Petersburg Times reported today on ESPN2's First Take that Lions defensive tackle Shaun Rogers will be traded or released this offseason.  This news isn't surprising at all considering Rogers' weight has always been an issue, and he really isn't a "Rod Marinelli type of guy."  Still, there is no arguing Rogers' talent when he is playing well.  ... Shaun Rogers is a goner. The Lions have decided to part with the star defensive tackle this off-season via trade or release, according to ESPN2’s “First take.” The Lions didn’t confirm the information. Lions coach Rod Marinelli said Jan. 17 he expects all players under contract to return, and team spokesman Bill Keenist reiterated that this morning.
