Shocking dialogue: Chris Webber and Don Nelson, together again
Reports out of the Bay Area have the Golden State Warriors near a deal to sign ex-Warrior Chris Webber to a free agent deal. This would reunite Webber with his one-time nemesis, then and current Warriors coach, Don Nelson. The duo met last week at Webber's Sacramento-area restaurant, and we have to apologize to whoever created this back-and-forth . Thanks to a mole who was hired by Yahoo! to ... [link]

    Can you still dunk?
Sounds rude, but it could be interpreted as an honest question.

Are you still with Tyra, or...
A friendly dig--Webber has to feel lucky to be out of that one.

I do have to say, it was a shame the way the refs let Samaki Walker guard you in the 2002 playoffs. I mean, there's no way Samaki Walker could stop Chris Webber from getting 30 and 15. No way he could stop you from getting to the Finals.
A world-class diss. The gloves are off.

Fanhouse is reporting the deal is done. This is not a good idea. At all. Like, leaving Captain Jack alone at the bar, not a good idea. Like, taking Baron ice skating, bad idea. Want reasons? Try this.

Turdrific Tuesday
Published 1/30/2008 by fknmclane at Your Face is a Sports Blog
... . Chris Webber will bring nothing to the Warriors but a propensity for sucking and a guaranteed box of Callahan Auto Parts brake pads to apply to the offense. He can't rebound or play defense which fits in just fine with the Warriors as presently constructed but will he be able to stay on the floor? Is the Golden State fast break going to be -1? Subtract the public relations perks and the move still sucks. Except of course for Kelly Dwyer and his fantastic post . He doesn't deserve a turd, that's for sure. -the Clemens team released a statistical analysis of the Rocket's ...

Daily Laters: What Do You Know About Pressure?!?
Published 2/1/2008 by Brinson at Brahsome - Care To Get Nice?
It’s our favorite time of the year, Super Bowl Sunday (look, little footballs!) so we like to lob out Ace Ventura quotes frequently. Deal with it. And don’t deal with work. Instead surf the web via these vehicles (not sure if it applies there or not) from some other stuff we’ve already seen but really enjoy. Of course, that doesn’t point out that we miss the Jaguars. Why? Because of dat ass. And because we picked them to go to the Super Bowl. For whatever that does for you. The point being that Jaguar cheerleaders are hot, especially in that trashy late 80’s way of wearing leopard skin and what not. Chris Mottram’s superb I’m a ...
