The Yankees fired first-year strength and conditioning coach Marty Miller on Wednesday, on the heels of yet another hamstring injury to one of their players. ... Simply said, the Toronto Blue Jays are not the New York Yankees. Case in point - the handling of athletic trainers. A rash of injuries forced many of the Yankee stars to head to the DL, and the team trotted 10 starters out during its first 30 games. As a consequence, the strength and conditioning coach was promptly fired two weeks ago.
