We Got Michael Turner And You Didn't!

... Now we have that complement. There's a lot of questions about how Michael Turner will stand up to a full season's worth of pounding and whether he can be as effective when he's not backing up one of the game's greatest players. There's also justifiable concern about the size of his contract, which is a 6-year, $34.5 million affair. His signing also will apparently lead to the exit of Dunn, who SI.com reports has asked to be released. ...
WARRICK WANTS OUT

... . Jim Trotter of SI.com reports that Dunn already has requested his release . Trotter says that several teams would be interested in Dunn, including the Cowboys, Texans, and Broncos. But as said Internet hack noted, Tony Dungy should consider bringing Dunn to Indy. Both left Tampa after the 2001 season, and Warrick still doesn’t have the Super Bowl ring that he deserves. ... But first things first: Dunn needs to get released. He's already requested a release from Atlanta, and if the Falcons have any decency they will do it. I will keep my eye on this. The Colts want Warrick, and Warrick wants to be a Colt. It's now a matter of getting something Dunn (yes, pun intended; sue me).

... A new running back that might be thrown into the mix is Warrick Dunn. When Michael Turner signed in Atlanta, Dunn realized his playing days for the Falcons might be over and asked to be released. ...
Lions Sign a Tight End, Want a Running Back

... The first name that the Lions were rumored to have had interest in was Michael Turner, who ended up signing with Atlanta. Although he is now off the market, signing with the Falcons actually has caused Warrick Dunn to ask to become a free agent. The Lions will likely take a look at Dunn, but it doesn't really sound like he will have very much interest in coming to Detroit. ...
Houston Texans in Free Agency, No Surprises or Warrick Dunn (Yet)
