CINCINNATI (AP) -- Paul Brown Stadium officials want permission to shoot down pigeons that are pooping on Bengals fans' heads -- and in their food and beer -- during games. Eric Brown , managing director of the stadium, sent a letter asking the city to allow stadium employees to kill the birds with an air-powered pellet rifle. ... This from Sports Illustrated: Paul Brown Stadium officials want permission to shoot down pigeons that are pooping on Bengals fans heads and in their food and beer during games. I know the Bengals must be frustrated but calling your defense a bunch of pigeons and asking to shoot them definitely won t help. And if you shoot them, won t you just have to get more? I m pretty sure NFL rules make you field a defense. The article goes on to say that Brown was considering hiring Michael Vick as a consultant for the Bengals.  Word is that Bengals players are now avoiding any electrical appliances or any standing water deeper than 2 inches. -DW
