Being a Viking fan means never really losing faith (blizzard)

... Bucky Brooks ranks NFL WRs based on how he thinks they'll perform in 2007. I won't tell you what parts of it I find senseless: I do find parts of his list quite senseless, but as I've said, I'm paranoid and I don't want anybody in my auction fantasy league to know how I feel about any of these players. ...

Bucky Brooks Is Delusional
Published 6/26/2007 by Scott at Bucstats.com weblog
... Bucky Brooks, a former cornerback who bounced between five different teams (multiple times) in four years in the mid-90s and failed to ever record an interception, ranks the top 25 wide receivers in the league. He leaves off Joey Galloway but decides Mark Clayton and Reggie Brown should be on there. That is reason enough to not take him seriously. This, though, could be admitted as evidence if he ever decides to plead insanity in the future: ...

NFL Receiver Rankings

... I was reading an online column by Sports Illustrated writer Bucky Brooks yesterday about the Top 25 receivers in the NFL (Link To Column) I recently picked on Mark Schlereth's view on the Arizona Cardinals offense and now I have to defend the Cards again. Now It's obvious I'm bias towards the Cardinals and their players but the rankings that Bucky Brooks gave Anquan Boldin and Larry Fitzgerald were just not right. Brooks had Anquan Boldin as the 9th best receiver in the league and Larry Fitzgerald as the 15th best. There are a lot of great receivers in the NFL and those two are probably not the top 2 in the league but I feel they should be a little higher and here is why... ...

DeAngelo Williams' Upside Gets More Pub
Published 6/27/2007 by David J. Warner at FanHouse
... . The former Miami of Ohio star is expected to save Carolina's punt return game, though early indications are that he might compete for a spot at wide receiver, too. Beyond Steve Smith, whom at least one columnist thinks is the best in the NFL, the depth chart looks pretty wide open right now, doesn't it? ...
Driver ranks as NFL's 7th best receiver
Published 6/29/2007 by Brian Carriveau at Green Bay Railbird Central
... Brooks writes about Driver, "Brett Favre's No. 1 target is one of the most underrated receivers in the league. An outstanding playmaker, Driver has posted over 1,200 receiving yards in three consecutive seasons. After earning his first Pro Bowl nomination, he is finally beginning to get the recognition he deserves. With limited weapons in the backfield, Driver may shatter his career highs in receptions and yards in 2007." ...
